Stifel backs Meow in a strategic investment and services agreement that will bring Meow’s treasury platform to Stifel Bank’s commercial banking clients. The initial focus is venture and fund banking, with Stifel expecting to begin onboarding clients in early 2027. The companies did not disclose the investment size, according to The Paypers report.
Under the agreement, Stifel Bank will offer a white-label version of Meow’s platform. Clients will be able to manage cash, payments, cards and day-to-day treasury operations across operating companies and multi-entity fund structures. Stifel will have access to Meow’s current and future capabilities.
Stifel Backs Meow for Treasury Services
Meow’s technology will add expense management, bill pay, stablecoin payments and agentic infrastructure to Stifel’s offering. The platform’s white-label model lets a bank provide services under its own brand. Those services include cash management, cards, invoicing and agentic banking, as well as back-office functions such as agentic transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence.

Stifel plans to combine the platform with services it already offers entrepreneurial companies. These include sector-specialist bankers, cash management with access to expanded FDIC insurance coverage through deposit placement arrangements, venture debt, growth lending, fund finance, investment banking and wealth management. The size of the investment was not disclosed.

Stifel has recently expanded into life sciences and healthcare, energy technology, and project finance. It has also added senior coverage in key US markets and allocated dedicated balance sheet capacity to venture and fund clients.
The business now has more than 125 client-facing professionals. It serves more than 500 high-growth companies and more than 250 fund clients. Stifel expects to begin onboarding clients in early 2027.

Stifel and Meow Describe the Partnership
Stifel Chairman and CEO Ron Kruszewski described the innovation economy as one of the firm’s most important growth opportunities. He said Stifel had invested in talent and its balance sheet, and was now investing in technology to pursue that opportunity. Jake Moseley, managing director of Stifel Venture Banking, said the deal pairs Meow’s digital platform with the bankers, products and capabilities of a full-service financial firm. He said the combination is intended to serve founders, growth companies and their investors.
Meow CEO Brandon Arvanaghi said the company was proud to have Stifel as both an investor and partner. He said Meow’s technology would bring new capabilities to Stifel clients, supported by Stifel’s bankers and balance sheet. Arvanaghi added that the companies plan to work together on the future of business banking.
The next stated step is client onboarding, which Stifel expects to begin in early 2027. The agreement gives Stifel a digital treasury platform without building the technology in-house, while Meow gains a bank partner with an established base of venture and fund clients.
