Netevia has combined with Defyne Payments to expand its independent sales organization (ISO) channel and merchant services capabilities. The companies said the completed transaction brings together Defyne’s partner network and merchant services expertise with Netevia’s payment technology and financial services infrastructure.
Duayne Haskett, Defyne’s former chief executive, has become Netevia’s chief revenue officer. He is expected to help lead the company’s nationwide ISO channel expansion and oversee efforts to strengthen relationships with independent sales organizations and agents.
Netevia described the move as a way to widen the resources available to independent sales agents, merchants and software partners. The announcement said the combination is intended to support merchant acquisition, service for existing customers and recurring revenue opportunities. Those are company expectations, and the companies did not disclose transaction value or other financial terms.

Expand ISO Channel Through Partner Relationships
The deal joins Defyne’s established industry relationships with Netevia’s payment processing technology, operational infrastructure and business management capabilities. Defyne, founded in 2017, provides merchant services and payment technology to businesses, independent sales organizations and independent software vendors. Its offerings include the proprietary Privvy platform.
Netevia provides payment acceptance, integrated software and access to banking services for merchants and channel partners. Its platform supports in-person and online payments. Netevia said its financial services are provided alongside payment technology, while clarifying that it operates as a financial technology provider rather than a bank. Partner financial institutions supply the banking services.
For payment companies, independent sales organizations connect merchants with processors, technology providers and related financial services. The source announcement says Netevia’s strategy is to give these partners technology and operational support as they serve merchants and expand their businesses.

The combination also gives Defyne’s existing partner network access to Netevia’s broader financial technology infrastructure. Haskett said Defyne’s partners would have additional products and resources available through the combined company. The announcement did not quantify the network, merchant portfolio or transaction volume.
Leadership and Financing Terms
Netevia chief executive Vlad Sadovskiy said the companies share a focus on supporting payment industry partners. He called Defyne a strategic fit and said the combination brings together people, relationships and technology. Those characterizations are Sadovskiy’s statements in the announcement.
Haskett said Defyne’s focus has been providing partners with relationships, service and tools. In his new role, he said he would work with Netevia to expand its ISO channel. The announcement also said Defyne’s team can draw on Netevia’s broader technology platform and operational resources.
The transaction was financed through an extension of Netevia’s existing credit facility with WhiteHorse Capital, which had previously provided senior secured financing to support the company’s growth. Netevia did not disclose the revised facility’s size, maturity or other lending terms. It also did not disclose the amount of additional financing.
The announcement says Defyne has been fully integrated into Netevia. It did not say whether Defyne will continue under its existing brand, and it named no additional executive appointments. The companies said their priorities after integration include partner service, merchant relationships and long-term revenue growth.
What the Combination Adds
Netevia’s announced expansion centers on distribution: combining payment infrastructure with Defyne’s established channel relationships and placing Haskett in charge of revenue. The company said it plans to accelerate nationwide ISO growth, but did not provide a timetable or numerical target.
The deal fits into wider financial technology coverage of technology and financial reporting, community banking and fintech payments activity. Netevia’s next stated step is to use the combined organization and Haskett’s channel role to pursue its nationwide ISO expansion.
